MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Emerging talent are paired with industry leaders for a six-month training experience, focused on professional development and network building through personal consultation, workshops, job shadowing, and attending industry events.
Year Two: Producer's Mentorship
We aim to:
-
demystify terminology, protocols and the role of a producer
-
provide up-to date, high quality, industry standard education that allows for our mentees to leave the intensive feeling empowered in their knowledge and skillset as a producer
-
connect mentees to industry-leading professionals who have had sustainable success as a producer in the Canadian film/tv industry
-
create a community among the mentees, mentors and guest speakers, which can be resourced as a long-term support network
Our second year of programming is geared towards emerging, gender-diverse producers who are at a point in their career where they are ready to produce their first feature film.
